Radio presenter Alex Zane has been suspended from XFM, subsequently he circulate a pasquinade song about rape on his breakfast show.
After the 29-year-old airy the rails on Wednesday (August 20), called 'Code Of Love', he was taken cancelled air by radio bosses, reports The Sun.
"On Wednesday morning, the breakfast establish broadcast an item that, in the view of station management, was disgusting and likely to cause offence." A spokeswoman for XFM says.
"As a answer, the breakfast team has been suspended, pending a formal disciplinary process. A full apology was send on air at 7.20am on Thursday. We are good-for-nothing for whatsoever offence caused."
DJ Dave Berry has been drafted in to stand in for Lowe, until he returns to the airwaves on September 1st.
